I travel frequently and recently have become very loyal to the Hilton brand (Hampton Inns, Hilton Garden Inns, Doubletrees, etc.). With Hampton Inns, you can always expect a clean room, consistently tidy public areas, and a good value. I like the predictability of their properties.
The Hampton Inn and Suites in Parker, CO, though, exceeded my already high expectations for Hamptons. While being a bit out in the middle of nowhere, but convenient for my business purposes, I found this property to be exceptional. The architecture is not cookie cutter and my corner suite was absolutely enormous. I had a nice sitting area, a king bed, and a decent sized bath. Like all Hampton Inns, there is a breakfast area in the lobby. This one was particularly nice and the staff member running the show there was always pleasant and cheerful.
One gripe: I checked in past midnight, exhausted, and went right to my room. The following day I never received housekeeping service and was later told that it was because I checked in so late. Huh?!? That didn't make sense, but it wasn't a big enough deal for me to go any further with it. On my second day, my room was serviced.
If you're in the area, this is a great choice for clean, comfortable, and convenient lodging.
