I like Ouray ! Made a note of the Ouray Chalet Inn a couple of years ago when we stopped for lunch in this wonderfully situated town.This year I had reserved ahead and found the rate to be surprisingly reasonable. The reception was warm and friendly, the room, very clean and nicely decorated, the bed comfortable. On reflection I wish we had chosen to stay a little longer as Ouray is a great base from which explore the incredible Million Dollar Highway . The town is colourful, has interesting shops and plenty of places to eat out. John.UK.

Room Tip: Its a popular Inn so reserve ahead. Late September is a great time to go.

“Charming”

Well appointed rooms, clean and comfortable beds. Super friendly staff (especially the kitty cat). Enjoyed the piped in music and sitting area under the trees.

Room Tip: The king on the first floor on the end was a great location.

Nice older motel. Very friendly, and clean place to stay. Fall colors were great. Even got some snow.

“Great motel, location, value!!!”

My daughter and I were on our annual mother daughter weekend Sept. 30, Oct. 1,2.... Stayed at this wonderful inn! Right in the heart of Ouray, very clean and a good price! The swing/jazz music on the radio when you first walk in reminded me of our trip to Paris! It was beautiful!
The view is great as well! And.....a good central location to then visit Telluride, go over Red Mtn. pass and visit Silverton and Animas Forks! Can't wait to go back!
