This is our 4th time here. We have very busy lives. This is an older hotel no fluff. If you want fluff go to telluride. Very relaxing. Hot springs great. The vapor cave great, loved the Lorelei private pool also. It's peaceful. It's December. Light snow while in the pool and deer walk right thru town. Christmas card quality. I came with my husband to get away from hectic Denver. It was great

This place is amazing, the cave is really beautiful! It is a real private place where you can enjoy a natural hot springs and a vapor room! Something really nice is to go in the end of the afternoon to enjoy the dawn being in the hot swimming pool outside.

I was fortunate enough to stay here with a friend that knew the owner and allowed us to stay here for free during their off season. The room was very quaint and quiet. It also was very clean and simple. There are no T.V.'s which is nice b/c I feel this is the type of place that you want to bring a book, soak in the amazing healing vapor cave, and unwind from any stresses life might bring. I don't know the owner personally so I am not biased toward giving a good review. My wife and I love coming here just to soak also. It is $10 for 1 visit and we always leave feeling refreshed.

Wiesbaden Hot Springs was well worth the visit. The vapor caves were super: hot water, lots of steam, no sulphur smell. It is a very clean establishment. We basically had the place to ourselves, and it was very relaxing.

However, do read the Wiesbaden website before visiting. The proprietess WILL ask you if you have smoked within the past three months. It is definitely a *very quiet place*. If you want to have a party or bring the kids (no children under 5 allowed), this is not the place for you.

They have Aveda products for sale as well as a few other odds and ends (bathrobes, etc.). They also have beverages and snacks for purchase. With the abundance of attention and effort made to make this spa seem spiritual, organic, pure, and healthy, I was really surprised to see the low quality of snacks they offered: grocery store aisle candy bars. It would have made sense to see a bowl of fruit rather than Reese's Peanut Butter Cups there.
