“Gorgeous home, gorgeous spot, gourmet breaksfast, warm hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2009

Stayed two nights in this wonderful post-and-beam, rock fireplace, lodge-like home. The hostess was incredibly warm and hospitable. Her "puffed pancakes", link sausage, and fresh fruit breakfast fueled a day-long mountain bike ride from St Elmo to the east portal of the Alpine Tunnel and back. After the ride, a nice soak in the hot tub did what it needed to do. Played a couple of rounds of 8-ball on the pool table. The home overlooks Chalk Creek and the soft sound of water splashing over the rocks below made for great sleeping. The is the nicest B&B we've visited in the entire Arkansas Valley. It goes without saying we'll be back.

“I've known Cheri Radway since 1980, stay at La Roca 2 or 3 times a year, & keep coming back because I love it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 May 2009

Peaceful, awesome views, nothing like it on the planet! Creekside, fresh air, plenty of room to roam and fun things to do in the area. The rooms, hot tub, and hospitality are perfect. Comforting, casual and totally relaxing. Cheri, the hostess, is a B&B genius. I will return again and again.

“Beautiful mountain retreat!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 February 2009

My fiance and I were looking for a cozy Bed and Breakfast for a Valentines weekend getaway. La Roca de Tiza met and blew our expectations away. The location was incredible, nestled in the forest next the to Chalk Cliffs. The house was cozy and rustic, while the owner, Cheri was a delight. We felt welcomed and comfortable. To say the breakfasts' were delicious is an understatement, you could tell there was a lot of love put into the meals. This place is definitely a hidden gem that I would recommend to all of my friends and family. We will definitely be back!!

“We can't wait to return!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2008

My partner and I stayed at La Roca de Tiza for our 1-year anniversary and thought it was absolutely wonderful. The house and surrounding land are gorgeous. As soon as we pulled up to the B&B, we knew the setting was perfect, and when we stepped inside, we loved it even more. The host (Sherry) was friendly and helpful while still allowing us our privacy. She makes a delicious breakfast, too! This B&B feels wonderfully quiet and secluded , and at the same time, it is a very short drive to restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities. We spent a day snowshoeing on the nearby Colorado Trail. It was so nice to come "home" to complementary wine and a warm jacuzzi! We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, but it was not too small at all. It was cozy, with a comfortable bed, and a great view. We are already planning our return trip for our 2 year anniversary!
