Stayed two nights in this wonderful post-and-beam, rock fireplace, lodge-like home. The hostess was incredibly warm and hospitable. Her "puffed pancakes", link sausage, and fresh fruit breakfast fueled a day-long mountain bike ride from St Elmo to the east portal of the Alpine Tunnel and back. After the ride, a nice soak in the hot tub did what it needed to do. Played a couple of rounds of 8-ball on the pool table. The home overlooks Chalk Creek and the soft sound of water splashing over the rocks below made for great sleeping. The is the nicest B&B we've visited in the entire Arkansas Valley. It goes without saying we'll be back.
