“My new favorite place in the CSprings Area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

I travel to Colorado Springs two-three times per year and have always stayed on the north side of town. Wanting something different, I checked out the west side and am I glad I did. This little gem sits on old US 24 with easy access to all the dining options of Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs. Family owned (a very nice family I might add) and operated, it's clean and quiet. As an added bonus for me, it was a nice lazy little drive into CSprings. Some great local places to dine makes it the trifecta of lodging in my eyes. Next time I am in town, without a doubt, this will be my choice.

“Highest recommendation for this one”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

We needed a last minute conference room for a chess tournament, and this hotel saved us. The staff were beyond helpful. If you are ever in a bind, you should be so lucky as to have people like these to work with. They were perfect.

Now, as far as the hotel itself, it is VERY nice. They have a great indoor pool, with a nice little hot tub. The hotel is white glove clean, with a great breakfast area, and small business room with a computer, printer, and complimentary internet.

If you choose this hotel, you will be very happy, I'm sure.

“Adequate hotel, good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2011

This hotel was nothing fancy or luxurious, but was perfectly adequate and a very good value for the money.

Located less than an hour from Denver...hotel is right across the street from entrance to Garden of the Gods (5 minute walking distance, totally worth going, FREE entrance) and less than 5 minute drive from Pike's Peak (also worth going, cog rail or hike up!), location of this hotel is good. You will probably need a rental car to get around and with one you can also be shopping downtown in less than 5 minutes. Highway ~5-10 minutes away.

The bed and bathroom were clean and spacious. Complimentary breakfast was good- large variety of hot and cold items (eggs, cereal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, etc.) Again, nothing gourmet, but good enough for me and I am picky.

All in all, I would recommend this place and would stay again if in the area. If your schedule permits, it is definitely worth checking out Rocky Mtn Natl Park if you are up for a bit of a drive from Manitou...

Room Tip: Ask for a view (Pike's Peak in the distance)

“Totally happy with this stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2011

We wanted to stay at a quaint or historical location but since it was a last minute reservation on to a location we had never been too, we decided to stay with a chain that we had relied on in the past. And this location in Manitou did not disappoint. The Rooms were clean, the staff excellent to work with and all amenities as described. I would highly recommend this location as it was close to the downtown area of Manitou and the Cog Railway.

Room Tip: Some rooms perpendicular to the road had views of Pike's Peak.
