“Excellent catered party and overnight stay”

We held a holiday party at the Cliff House and had the opportunity to spend the night at discounted rates. It was an excellent experience. The food, which was a buffet, was first class. The highlight was a prime rib prepared to perfection. We have stayed here on other occasions and had dinner at the restaurant, which was equally tasty. The breakfast buffet was adequate but nothing special.

We stayed in one of the junior suites which is a worthwhile upgrade over the regular rooms. The room is very comfortable. The room was mostly quiet, but could be noisy depending on the neighbors. The location in Manitou is quiet and just a short walk to the center of town.

Service was excellent and were was treated very well.

The "added fees" quickly increased the room cost, so be aware that the listed price is not the final price.
Definitely recommended for a romantic get away.

“Beautifully restored hotel in a quaint little town”

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Cliff House. Several years ago, this historic hotel underwent a multi-million dollar renovation. Generally speaking, it was very well done. Most of the rooms have gas fireplaces, and ours had a great view. Manitou Springs is a great little town with lots of shops and a pretty setting on a mountain stream.

Room Tip: You want to face the town side. Some have steam showers, and some have whirlpool tubs. Our whirlpo...

As Inn Keepers we enjoy fine quality, and the Cliff House has a century of fine quality to draw from. Thank you for keeping it alive.

“Exceptional staff”

My fiance and I recently stayed at The Cliff House for five nights.
We stayed in one of the junior suites which was small but cozy.
I would recommend getting one of the larger suites which are much larger and have a fireplace.
We were very impressed by the attentiveness of the staff. Every employee we came in contact with from the front desk to the valets, housekeeping, waitresses, etc. were exceptional. We had my fiancé's service dog with us and the staff was very accommodating to him also.
We will definitely be staying at the Cliff House on the future.

“Very nice and close to everything”

Beautiful historic hotel, within walking distance to shops and eateries. The room was very nice, clean, and it has valet service that came in handy with our rental car. The air conditioner seemed old and noisy and had trouble keeping the room cool. They have little personal touches like turn down service with candy on your pillows and a nightly newsletter with things to do in the area and happenings at the hotel. The bathtub was huge and the toilet had heated seats, which was neat even though we didn't use it. Lots of area attractions close by like the Olympic Training Center, Cliff Dwellings, Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak.
