“Could Be Better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2010

Stayed one night and chose this property over the high-priced alternatives in Estes Park (after our visit to the Rocky Mountain National Park.) This could be a decent property if they would turn on their a/c. Lobby, hallways and breakfast area were extremely warm and uncomfortable. A/C was not turned on in rooms, so room was hot and stuffy. I turned the a/c on, but it didn't seem to cool at all for awhile and even though I left it running all night, it still didn't seem to cool the room down adequately. Room was large; nice and had comfortable beds/pillows. Seemed to be clean. Microwave/frig a plus. Decent shower. Adequate breakfast. My brother-in-law had to ask them to turn on the a/c in the breakfast room as the heat was making him ill. I can understand trying to save some money on an electric bill, but they need to think about their guests and make more of an effort in making them comfortable. (They might not stay in business otherwise.) Sounded like a noisy trash truck came before 5:00 a.m. I would not recommend this one and would choose something else if in the area again. Paid $88.80 including tax - expected a comfortable stay.

“Bed Bugs!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 September 2010 via mobile

Our group had 7 rooms in this hotel and 2 of the 7 had bed bug infestations and one had other insects. One in our group received medical attention after her upper body was covered in bites. The doctor indicated that it was bed bugs. We informed hotel management who tried to blame it on animals.

We wish to offer our sincere apologies to our guests for their unfortunate experience with these pests. Unfortunately, upon the check out of guests the management checked all the rooms in the hotel and found pest infestation in two rooms occupied by the guests. According to the pest control company these two rooms were recently infested within last 4 to 7 weeks during our very busy summer season during which we hosted thousands of guests from across the United States and International guests as well.

Unfortunately no hotel is immune from these infestations as global travel becomes more and more common place, fine lodging properties such as ours are increasingly at risk for circumstances such as this. As we are all finding out in recent media news, these pests are becoming much more widespread every day and are found in all kinds of hotels, apartments, movie theaters, hospitals, private homes etc. and until a permanent solution is found we must be vigilant in doing all we can to protect our customers from these incidents. I think readers would be interested to know that hotels are as much victimized by these pests as are people who encounter them, and spend thousands of dollars a year to protect their properties as best as they can. Because these bugs get into luggage and then luggage is put in common cargo holds, it is so easy for a break out to affect so many people. Unknowingly, people carry these bugs in their own baggage and actually bring them into the hotels, not to say that this particular customer bought them into the hotel, but clearly they were brought into our hotel in exactly this manner by a previous guest. Lodging facilities that by their nature of business hosts thousands of guests from every corner of United States as well as international travelers with very high guest turnover are increasingly more prone to these pest infestations.

As a responsible business as soon as we discovered this problem we took immediate decisive action by taking these two rooms out of inventory and by treating and sanitizing the affected rooms professionally by a well known national pest control company Terminex.A follow up inspection was done by the pest control company and no infestation was found and these two rooms are certified by the pest control company as free of any pest infestations .we will continue to remain vigilant in our protection of all of our guests.

“Clean, comfortable, courtesy, all NON-SMOKING!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 October 2008

Quality Inn in Loveland, CO, was an excellent choice for us. We spent 2 nights there and were very comfortable. The entire facility was NON-SMOKING! Great for us!! We detest the smell of cigarette smoke, so this was a real treat. The room had a microwave and roomy refrigerator. Good selection of tea and coffee in the room. The complimentary breakfast was good. Boiled eggs for protein, fruit-flavored yogurt, the usual cereals, bagels, waffles, toast, sweet rolls. They did have sugar-free jelly which impressed me.
The small indoor pool and hot tub looked nice, but we didn't use them. There was a good selection of channels on the TV. We had a nice view of the mountains from our top floor bedroom.
Good rate for us seniors in a usually expensive area.
1/2 a block away to the west is an excellent breakfast/lunch restaurant called The Breakfast Club. Cute place with good food, fast service, and friendly wait staff.
This was our 2nd or 3rd time to stay at this Quality Inn and we continue to be pleased with it. Clean and well-maintained, so we'll probably stay there next year when we make our annual visit to see a relative there.

“Quality Stay at Quality Inn”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 June 2008

Only stayed 1 night but was able to get a good deal booking just a few days in advance. Nothing special about the place, but not problems. Had to wait on our crib but did get it. Get a discount at several restaruants in area for showing room key. Had an indoor pool and hot tub that were nice. Hotel is right off main highway through down so had some traffic noise but didnt keep us up. Simple, but decent breakfast. A nice place for anyone just passing through or for a few days. Nothing fancy but provided what I needed.
