The lobby and the restaurant gives you the impression the rooms are going to be very nice and plush like other Best Western Plus I have stayed in but that's not the case at this hotel. The room look no different than a regular best western. This looks like an older hotel that got a facelift. The room decor was a plain southwester theme. The bathroom was extremely small. We had a terrible time trying to turn on the shower and thought it was broken. The maintenance man came quickly which was very good and told us to just PULL HARDER...Very disappointed in the bathroom and the room overall for the money...

The bed was comfortable and that was a plus especially since I have a bad back. The restaurant was surprisingly good (a little pricey). The breakfast was very good and we were happy with that.

Just don't expect the rooms here to be as nice as other Best Western Plus.

Although the front desk people were quite pleasant, and the breakfast was decent, the rest of our experience was not good. We booked two rooms for our family. Both rooms smelled mildewy and carpets were dirty. There was no elevator to carry up our bags, cooler, and baby supplies. Pool was virtually unusable due to number of mosquitoes present. Booked the hotel because of it's convenience to heading up to Estes, but unfortunately you have to drive about one-half mile east out of the hotel and do a u-turn in order to head west . We were expecting rooms with two beds....but were given rooms with a king bed and pull out sofa. King beds had a dip in the mattress and sofa bed was very uncomfortable.

Great location, nice room, great value. The only issues I had with the stay is that first the floors in the room seem to have been steam cleaned and were wet. Which was of course fine, although made the room feel pretty humid. Then the last issue was the air filters needed to be changed as not only ac unit stuck, but the smell was so much worse when the unit was cooling the room. However one does get used to the smell and at least for me just kept the window open rather than the ac running. Which happens to be nicer anyway. Furthermore, when I mentioned the slight inconveniounce to the front desk. A maitness immediately left to take care of this issue for the next guest.
Moreover, the staff was very friendly as well as helpful. The beds in the room where comfortable. Plus the rooms were very quiet. All in all a very nice stay with a smell that will probably subside by your stay.

We checked in late. Our room was ready and very clean. The beds were great. We slept very well. Breakfast was not pleasant. We got down there an hour before the closing time to find that they were empty on a lot of items- sausage gravy, waffle mix, syrup, plates and eating utensils. We had to wait several minutes for them to restock. The counters were incredibly dirty and was never wiped clean while we were there. Since most people see the breakfast last, it's important to set a good lasting impression and this one didn't do that.
