This is not the first time that I have stayed here, but I came back due to the resonable price, great location to Boulder, Estes Park, etc.
From 1/15/2012 to approx 2/29/2012 Marriott is renovating this property. Currently (1/19) the guest area where breakfast normally is given near the lobby is gutted. The free breakfast has been moved to the Meeting Place facility which is in another building only 50 feet or so from main lobby.
Also out of commission during this time is the laundry room, but you can go next door to Springhill Suites and do laundry there. All construction is done during the day. I have yet to see any construction debris or dust anwhere. All renovation area are sealed off and will not affect your stay.
This property is great to stay at if you are going to work in Boulder for IBM, Ricoh, Xlinks, Seagate, etc.
Only moments away are many of the good chain restaurants such as Otback, Texas Roadhouse along with many non national chains. Oskar Blues, various local Italian bistros.
Only slight problem I had was having a studio style room on the first floor. The way the bed is placed leaves only approx 6 inches between edge of bed corner and a wall. The 1 bedroom suites are well worth the upcharge for longer stays.
In the lobby the have renditions displayed of what the renovations will look like completed. It will look outstanding and very updated.
Will definitely book this hotel next time I come here
