The hotel has recently become a Rodeway Inn and it appears they are making some improvements. When we stayed, the pool and hot tub were out of order (and have been since 10/17/11 according to the sign on the counter). Also, the restaurant is closed but it appears they have gutted the kitchen and dining area for renovations. The bar area had just reopened. Our room had updated TVs, but the rest of the room was dated. We loved the layout of our room - it had two rooms with a bathroom separating them. Each room had a king-sized bed and had access to a patio overlooking the atrium area. The room was clean. I could not give the hotel a higher ranking because we had to wait quite a while for assistance while checking into the hotel (almost 10 minutes). Also, every employee we saw at the front desk was sitting down behind the desk and the were not very friendly or welcoming. It will be interesting to see the changes once the renovations are complete.
Room Tip: Choose the double king bed rooms if you want the room configuration we received during our stay.
