If you need a firm bed or an ice machine, then this motel is not for you. Otherwise, our room appeared clean and the dated bathroom (with tub) was quaint but worked fine. The refrigerator and microwave oven both worked well. The window airconditioner drowned out the noise of traffic on the main street. The motel offered vending machine sweet rolls for breakfast. There are several antique shops within a hundred yards-or-so from the motel. The Madonna of the Trails statue is just a block or so away, as is the old train station.
