We stayed at this SW Denver area hotel for just one night and were very pleased. We use them a lot and this hotel is well above the average for a LQ hotel. It looks relatively new inside and out, rooms are large with nice bathrooms, and the main registration and breakfast areas are light and airy. It feels comfortable throughout. The hotel is handy for activities on the SW side of town, but not really for the city center. There is shopping nearby and plenty of restaurants, and the locaiton is great for a getaway to the mountains.

This trip was our first La Quinta experience and we were impressed! Very clean rooms, huge bathroom, excellent continental breakfast and cheap price!

Stayed six nights at this hotel while visiting family. It is fairly new. The lobby is clean, the rooms are nice with a flat screen tv. The continental breakfast is okay but gets old after a couple of days. Now with the negatives: While at breakfast every morning I watched the lady who is in charge of the food change the barrels with her bare hands and then proceed to touch the food on the counter. She would use both hands to push down a full barrel with no gloves on and never washed her hands!! that was gross! Then she would start removing the breakfast 5 minutes before the scheduled time, so if you are running late you can forget about eating!! The ladies at the check in were okay but not as friendly as other reviews stated. Please don't take this the wrong way but if you do not care for dogs please stay somewhere else. This hotel is like a dog kennel...That may be fine for dog lovers but what about those of us who are allergic to dogs or who don't like dogs? For the price per night it was a good value but next time I will look elsewhere. Also, ask for a room on the side opposite of the highway. If you are a light sleeper this could be bothersome...

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at this hotel, located near Denver and Lakewood, while we were visiting family. We wanted a clean, comfortable and low-cost hotel, but had never stayed at a La Quinta before. We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of our room. We had an executive king room with a very comfortable bed. The room was huge, with a sofa, flat screen television and a very large bathroom. The room was very clean and modern -- the air conditioning worked great. The property even had a pool and a fitness room with modern equipment. The complimentary breakfasts, although basic, were perfectly fine. If pressed for criticisms, we'd have only minor ones -- the carpets in some common areas are coming up and potentially a trip hazard; the walls in between rooms are very thin. We had extremely loud neighbours and could hear them chatting to each other at 6 am every morning. However, overall the location of this hotel is great, there is ample parking and we felt it was excellent value for money. We'd definitely consider staying in a La Quinta again.
