Stayed here for a short business trip- all the quality of other Sheratons I've stayed at, but the price was lower than expected. And the internet access was free (not the $10 charge per night that all the more expensive hotels insist on charging). Staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant food was very good. Try for a room on the upper floors- views of both the city and mountains are great.

As an SPG Platinum, I stay in a lot of Sheratons, and truly appreciate the fabulous staff and service here. Nice sized rooms, great location, wonderful water pressure in the shower (a rarity these days), tough to beat on all counts...except...it seems Starwood forgot to update this particular property during the overhaul of the entire brand the past couple of years. It's a bit tired and worn around the edges---the carpet in my room was raveled or pulled apart in places, the mirror looked like it had been scrubbed with a steel wool pad to remove something another guess wrote on it (heavens, what did they use to write on a mirror that still leaves a mark?). Make no mistake---this hotel is clean as a whistle. Just feels like the rooms are a bit on the worn and weathered side.

Dear Starwood: Show Denver West a little love. They deserve it, and are among the best in every other category I tried.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend. The rates were good with an ok view of the city from the sixth floor. The room was comfortable without heating, though the heater made a lot of noise. Bathroom light was very dim. Shower was really good. There is a gym with ellipticals and treadmills and a weight room with machines and exercise balls. The pool was nice and warm, with very few people in it. The stairs from the pool to the sixth were a good warm-up. Front desk service was friendly; bar service was very friendly. Restaurant was distinctly average. Electronic keys were the least reliable part of our stay as they kept failing.

Close to a lot of things in West Denver and Westminster. No view, I mean No view of mountains, but has views of rail spur in progress - nice.

The rooms are pretty standard for a Sheraton, but the bathroom fixtures need updating. House staff was friendly and housekeeping did a nice job of cleaning up.

Some internet restrictions, especially with VPN for business travelers.
