We've stayed at Ski Tip Lodge three times over the last couple years and have always had a fabuolous experience!! This place is straight out of the Alps - cozy fireplaces, intimate dining, low ceilings, plush comforters on four poster beds. We just LOVE sitting around the glowing fireplaces in the evening, reading books and drinking wine. Everything is just so classy and comfortable it makes my heart happy. The prices of a room is quite reasonable in the off (non-ski) season (~$100) and the rooms all have so much character! The $70/plate dinners are a bit too expensive for our budget, so we go out to eat in town, then enjoy the excellent breakfast in the morning (specialy omelettes with canadian bacon, belgian waffles, coffee, tea, fruit, breads). You can see the ski slopes from the outdoor patio and a little pond borders the property, but it still feels very much tucked amidst the pine trees (wish we could have had our wedding here!). This past weekend we brought our 2 year old son with us, which we were a bit nervous about since the B&B is quite tranquil and frequented by more of an older crowd (not as many young families). However, the staff were all very welcoming and the baby monitor stretched to the lounge so we could enjoy an evening relaxing by the fire while our son slept. The only issue I would say is that the building is a bit creaky and not perfectly sound proof, so knowing this we just brought our white noise machine to help us and our son sleep undisturbed. This is a fantastic and welcoming little B&B and we'll continue to come back as much as we can!
