Ski Tip Lodge was amazing from the management to the food to the accomodations. I was there on business but I felt like I was on a vacation after work hours! Sitting in a comfy chair by the window reading a book from their shelf, ordered a glass of wine with the fireplace going, amazing!
I want to come back with my fiancé! Charming, romantic, great breakfast I had such a wonderful experience, thank you! Check out my blogspot for pictures from my trip!

“Love the Ski Tip Lodge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2011

My husband and I have visited the ski tip 3 times over the last 8 years our first being a magical New Year’s Eve shortly after we met and the second our one year wedding anniversary. The latest one was this past weekend with our 8 month old son. The Ski Tip once again exceeded our expectations. We didn't have a reservation when we arrived in Keystone and were delighted to find there was availability and the restaurant (which is amazing) was running a two for one special. We promptly booked a room and a reservation for dinner. Upon our arrival the woman that greeted us as the front desk was very pleasant and helpful showing us to our room and encouraging us to enjoy the patio for some wine and snacks; which we did laying out a blanket for our baby to play on the grass. Unfortunately our little boy was a bit cranky from the long drive viewing the leaves that we were unable to make it to dinner but the staff was so nice and offered to bring us soup, salad and a light appetizer to our room. We were so touched by their hospitality and understanding of our situation and the food was wonderful! We had a relaxing breakfast in the dining room the next morning which was included. Overall we were once again extremely happy with our stay at the Ski Tip and will definitely be returning.

“Cozy Alpine B&B - our favorite in Colorado!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2011

We've stayed at Ski Tip Lodge three times over the last couple years and have always had a fabuolous experience!! This place is straight out of the Alps - cozy fireplaces, intimate dining, low ceilings, plush comforters on four poster beds. We just LOVE sitting around the glowing fireplaces in the evening, reading books and drinking wine. Everything is just so classy and comfortable it makes my heart happy. The prices of a room is quite reasonable in the off (non-ski) season (~$100) and the rooms all have so much character! The $70/plate dinners are a bit too expensive for our budget, so we go out to eat in town, then enjoy the excellent breakfast in the morning (specialy omelettes with canadian bacon, belgian waffles, coffee, tea, fruit, breads). You can see the ski slopes from the outdoor patio and a little pond borders the property, but it still feels very much tucked amidst the pine trees (wish we could have had our wedding here!). This past weekend we brought our 2 year old son with us, which we were a bit nervous about since the B&B is quite tranquil and frequented by more of an older crowd (not as many young families). However, the staff were all very welcoming and the baby monitor stretched to the lounge so we could enjoy an evening relaxing by the fire while our son slept. The only issue I would say is that the building is a bit creaky and not perfectly sound proof, so knowing this we just brought our white noise machine to help us and our son sleep undisturbed. This is a fantastic and welcoming little B&B and we'll continue to come back as much as we can!

“Another wonderful dinner at Ski Tip Lodge"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 August 2011

We had another wonderful dinner at Ski Tip Lodge. Over the past 20 years, I have eaten at many place in Summit County. Ski Tip is by far my favorite. It is an intimate setting with fabulous food and fabulous service. This time I was there on my birthday but we did not say that until we ordered dessert and my son said it was mom's birthday. My dessert came with Happy Birthday written on the plate. It is a fabulous place, winter or summer!
