The Hampton Inn in Greeley is a lovely hotel. A little hard to find if you are coming in from highway 85 if you don't take the bypass. The staff is friendly and the hotel is in a wonderful area right by the Greely Mall and surrounded by great resturants.

Since Greeley provides limited options I stayed at this Hampton Inn for 1 night during a business trip. Initially I was very skeptical. In the end, overall I was satisfied. The room was very clean and the A/C kept the place very cool. However, the A/C unit was very noisy and did disturb me during the night. The gym was very small and consisted of 3 machine and some weights, but it was enough for my short stay. I was impressed by how clean the gym and pool area were kept. The breakfast was served in a room that was also very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was standard fare, but it was hot and plentiful. We arrived late for breakfast, but had no issues with lack of food. I prefer a hard bed, so I was not crazy about the bedding as it is, as previously reported, very soft. In the end I was satisfied overall.

My family and I stay at Hampton Inns usually when we travel. We recently had a one night stay in Greeley, Colorado. Everything was ok until we went down to the breakfast buffet the following morning at 8:45 am. All of the food was gone, and I am not kidding, nothing was there except drinks. My husband is diabetic and needs his regular meals. I went to the front desk, and the young lady working said that all the food was gone. Other travelers also complained. They later managed to put out a few eggs and biscuits. I called the assistant manager later, and it is four days since my call and no one has called back. This hotel supposedly guarantees satisfaction, what a joke!

It's pretty hard to find a decent hotel outside of the city. I was just hoping for a clean place to lay my head - oh, and a fridge. I was so impressed with the place. The rooms were very large, the bed was super comfy and soft, there was a desk for my laptop, a kitchen area, and a great TV. My main concern is always cleanliness and it was spotless.

The only problem I had was that the first room I was in smelled of smoke. They were completely booked for the night so I stayed put, but in the morning I insisted that they move me and they were really nice about it - AND they were horrified to hear that someone had smoked in one of their non-smoking rooms. I'm very sensitive to smoke, so I suppose someone else may not have noticed.
