“Best of both worlds”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 August 2010

GGH is a great cross btwn Hotel and B&B! I recently stayed at Greeley Guest House with my 6y/o daughter while visiting for a family reunion. Other extended family also stayed there and had good things to say about the experience.

Staff : Warm, polite, accommodating, and professional.
Rooms: Large and clean. We had a (distant) mountain view, gas fireplace, dishes, and mini-fridge.
Inclusions: Snacks (in-room and in common-area), HS Internet, Breakfast (different hot-food selection each day, as well as cereal, granola, yogurt, croissant).
Location: Inn is set back and quiet, while being close to main routes. Very nice courtyard area and gazebo. Also close to the only golf courses in Greeley. Easy drive to Loveland and Estes Park etc.

What would make it "perfect"? - addition of a pool, and being walking proximity to something(anything).

“Nice to stay, huge disappointment in meeting facilities”

Nice place to stay, but a huge disappointment with the meeting facilities. Meeting rooms are in the basement and there are no elevators. It was exhausting shleping heavy stuff up and down the stairs. Above the meeting rooms are hardwood floors that made it feel we were listening to a herd of elephants all day long which was very distracting. Last but not least the conference phone and internet did not work. They got the phone situation fixed but just gave us a smile and an apology about the internet.

Stayed in delux room with private bath for under $120/night. Very spacious, niceley decorated room with fireplace, beautiful view, refrigerator, coffeemaker, free wireless internet, free snacks and home cooked breakfast. Centrally located. Friendly service. Good free parking. Great value.

  • Liked — spacous, attractive, good value, well located
  • Disliked — The odor of cows is distinct throughout the town of Greeley. Not unique to location of hotel.

“Greeley Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 March 2007

I travel to Greeley for work on a regular basis. We always stay at the Greeley Guest House. It is a nice "inn"... not quite a B&B. The staff are always warm. The rooms are very large and feel much more "homey" than a standard hotel room. There is a fireplace and a very comfy chair in each rooms. Decorating is warm and up to date. There is even a small kitchenette in most of the rooms (fridge, microwave and some dishes). Coyotes is a good mexican food restaurant within walking distance. Convenient for a late night margarita. The breakfast each morning is also good. They offer fresh fruit, a hot item, assorted breads, etc. Nice eating area.
