Shadowcliff was built by hundreds of volunteers from 40-some countries, working over a number of years. It continues to be a place where Nature and the good vibes of all those loving volunteers and visitors make everyone feel welcome and at home. We've been going there for more than a decade, and besides the joy of watching deer or moose (or once a bear!) wander munching by, there's the joy of seeing how conscientious the Shadowcliff folks are about caring for Mother Nature. This is not a commercial venture; it's a haven and a blessing.
