We booked this room through Hotwire, which had given the place a three-star rating. Clearly the person who rated the hotel had not walked past the lobby. This is a classic two-star hotel, and if that's what you're expecting you'll be satisfied. We were looking for a three-star place and were disappointed.
The decor is utilitarian. The room was spacious - we had a king sized bed and still had enough floor space for morning yoga. There is a functional computer desk, which I would have much appreciated had I been travelling for business. The bed was a torture rack, thus necessitating the morning yoga. I literally had to buy a can of tennis balls in the next town and apply them to my back as we drove. My husband doesn't have back problems and thought the bed was fine. Three years ago I probably would have, too.
There is no free breakfast included, but the restaurant downstairs made quite a nice breakfast for us.
There is a little bar downstairs too. The sounds of the karaoke in progress when we arrived chased us out. Seemed like an OK place for a quiet beer otherwise, certainly not a hot spot.
We paid $55 for the room, including taxes, through Hotwire. That was a good price for what we got.
Overall, had we been wanting and expecting a two star room we would have been very satisfied.
Room Tip: The king room was quite spacious.
