We recently stayed here for an active/outdoorsy 5 night Thanksgiving getaway as part of a group of about 10 mountain bikers. The motel staff was very accomodating and had even put together a packet of information/trail maps for us about local areas for mountain biking. They put us in rooms that were all together in a row near the BBQ grills/picnic tables and also let us use their meeting room free of charge so that we could have our own potluck Thanksgiving dinner. The meeting room had a bathroom and several long tables where we could eat and have plenty of room for cooking (our own microwave/crockpots/hot plate). The motel itself is a bit dated, but the rooms were clean, the beds soft with pollowtops, the breakfast was expanded continental with make your own waffles, apples, canned fruit, oatmeal, many kinds of bread, etc. We would definitely stay here again.
Room Tip: Our rooms on the north side were quite and also adjacent to the picnic tables and grills.

I am glad that your group enjoyed your stay. Many of the upgrades we have made like the BBQ grills are for guests that come to Grand Junction for several days to explore area activities. In the summer we have a bike washing station because I know what it is like when your bike just needs to be washed before you can ride it again. I hike and bike whenever I can and I enjoy sharing information with guests. I often wish I could tag along when I hear what trails guests are headed off to. Thank you for staying at Americas Best Value Inn. Sharon
