Check in was easy, very friendly front desk. No continental breakfast, they have a restaurant attached to lobby, however, it only serves breakfast and lunch.
Entrance doors to hotel wings are not locked, anyone can enter. There was some type of concert Friday night and we noticed a lot of young people heading out, wearing all types of odd green clothing. The next morning, we found a few bunches of young people camped out at the end of the interior hallways. The area seems pretty safe, however, they should be locked, just for that reason alone.
Rooms are clean and fairly roomy. Beds are comfortable and have multiple pillows. They have an outdoor pool (not heated) and a small gym and hot tub.
One side of the hotel faces the interstate and is fairly noisy. There is a shopping mall down the street and several restaurants that are NOT within walking distance. So, without a car, you are pretty much stuck. The front desk did not offer any info about bus service, even when I inquired if there were any decent restaurants within walking distance. We were traveling with another couple and they were going to be visiting family Thursday and we were thinking we could just hang at the hotel and walk to restaurants. If you do choose to walk, you are walking along a very busy highway and it is a long, long way to get to anything.
There is a Circle K right next to the hotel.
This is a good place to spend the night while on the road. Clean, comfy, friendly and a good value for the money.
Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the pool.
