We stayed here in early February,2012, to ski at Aspen-Snowmass. It has been increasingly difficult to find reasonable accomodations for two at Snowmass, so we decided to stay here and drive daily up the hill, an easy 45 minute drive on 4-lane highway. The hotel is very nice (recently renovated), the staff is very friendly and helpful. Free access to the heated out-door pool (apparently the worlds biggest). It's a short 3-minute walk from the hotel. A free breakfast is served next to the pool also. Choice of continental breakfast or cooked-to-order with omelets, scrambled eggs, burritos, etc. Rooms are nice, clean, large TV. Ours had a small balcony. Limited,covered free parking on a first come basis, large parking lot out back for the rest. We enjoyed the stay. Nothing like a good soak in the large (104 C degrees) hot section after a day of skiing. Spent the money we saved by staying away from Snowmass accomodations on meals in the many good restaurants in town.
