Location is absolutely the best for access to the Hot Springs - especially if you want to go multiple times a day. Literally a 3 minutes walk from the front door. The newly renovated rooms were great and room size was large enough for a family of 5. Staff were very friendly, helpful and cheerful ! The only thing that could be improved upon is the breakfast that is offered by the Grill over at the Hot Springs.

My wife and I have traveled to Glenwood multiple times. It's quite a trek from Colorado Springs, but we gladly make the trip when we can find time The staff at both the Lodge and the Pool are so accomodating. We have stayed at other hotels but the convenience, the connection, the quality of accomodations, the value for the money make staying at the Lodge with the Pool Package awesome. The AAA discount helps. The rooms have recently been remodeled. I would compare the quality of finish with Courtyards by Marriot. I would say that the character of the interior design is more like Marriot Hotels. You can walk to wonderful local restaurants just across the river bridge at the end of the day before your evening soak. Go and enjoy.

We always enjoy staying at the Lodge when we take a mini-vacation. Four days of skiing with an evening soak in the pool before dinner is a great day in my book. Where else can you go and have the hot-pool and a REAL breakfast included in the price of the Hotel room? The staff is freindly, informative and knowlegable. We originally booked a small queen room and decided to upgrade to the next size up for 10$ per night....well worth the money!
