This was our first time staying at this B&B, & our first trip together as a couple. Peter and Jan made it a wonderful visit to Glenwood Springs.
When I called to make the reservation, Jan asked many questions about our likes and dislikes for food, drink, etc. The reasoning on this questioning wasn't readily apparent, but I failed to ask questions myself.
When we arrived, Jan met us, showed us around the house, then showed us to our room. Everything was lovely, and beautifully kept. (a reminder to the tall travelers visiting, duck when going up the stairs) We stayed in the Rose room which had a nice bed, a walk-in closet, a double shower, and West facing windows.
Breakfast the next morning was a real treat. We arrived at the table, and found personalized name plates on our place settings, complete with coffee set up for me, and tea set up for Anna (an entire box of various teas to choose from). As mentioned in other reviews, the breakfast was 3 courses, that were beautiful to look at and tasted scrumptious. We also asked Peter about some of the decorations around the home, and were treated to descriptions of where the items came from, how some were made, and their intended uses. We were also told about the last 3 weekends of October, when there were walking tours of the cemetary, complete with actors depicting the historical figures buried there.
All in all this was a great experience, and we will definitely return.
