“Lots of room, good location, simple accommodations”

We rented a two room cabin for an evening in April to celebrate my friends birthday. We love Glenwood Springs and chose the Red Mountain Inn because it was pet friendly. The two room cabin was large with a living area, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom on one side and an adjoining hotel room with bathroom adjoining it. The rooms were large and clean. It was a simple hotel, but what we were looking for. We love Glenwood Springs and enjoy going to the hot springs and dinner at the brewery every trip. We would recommend this hotel.

“What a wonderful place to stay”

Highly enjoyed staying here. Felt like we were staying in a little cabin.Updated, very large room with lots of storage places. Staff was so friendly. Place has bbq grills & picnic tables if you want 'em, grassy areas for pets and kids. Didn't try hot tub or pool but they looked nice. Courtyard type setting. Could open the window and take advantage of the cool breezes if we wanted to.
Located off Hwy 6 end of town but it doesn't take long to get to anywhere.
Recommend this place to anyone, we found about it in our Moon Travel Book (if I remember right). You will enjoy it!

“Comfy, Clean and Peaceful”

My husband and I stayed at Red Mountain Inn on a recent weekend trip to Glenwood Springs. We opted for the king bed in a cottage at the far end of the property. This is an old court-style motel/cabins but is updated and clean. Nothing fancy but our cottage came with a full kitchen and cooking utensils, including a coffee maker and coffee. People with pets are welcome and there is a grassy 'pet area.' The pool is not huge and 5 feet deep at most but was clean, as was the hot tub which we took advantage of. There are BBQ grills scattered between the cottages, as well as grills placed in a nearby grassy area, complete with picnic tables. We opted to sit at a picnic table on the hill one evening which afforded a pleasant view of the sunset over the mountains. Staff was friendly and there is a continental breakfast served in the main lobby. Vic's Route 6 Grill House is a couple of doors away where we enjoyed a cocktail, as well as an old style drive-in right next door for burgers and such, called Viccino's. On the other side of the motel is a mini golf with a number of water features, including a waterfall. The motel is about half a mile from the hot springs pool and the center of downtown Glenwood Springs. Our cottage for two cost $80/night.

I started off checking in with this woman Megan (such a sweatheart) and she told us all about stuff to do in glenwood. She is extreamly knowlegable about the town. I loved the fact they had a pool and a jucuzzi also. I will definitely stay here agian and will tell all my friends and family about it!! Can't wait to come back :)
