We stayed in the Meadow Suite and it is large, comfortable, well furnished and gracious. My only nit is the pillow was too full for my personal comfort-- I like a flat pillow. The bed was very comfortable itself.

All of the staff were friendly and very accommodating.

My favorite part of the stay was socializing with other guests while sharing the gourmet kitchen facility !.

When my high school son and his girlfriend were stranded in Winter Park due to a road closure, Chivi arranged dorm rooms for the 2 of them over the phone. Then, she very graciously helped me arrange to get him some cash to cover his meal expenses. She gave me such a peace of mind to know that he was in good hands. I was very pleased with her personal customer service and understanding of the situation.

My daughter and I stayed here over the New Year's Holiday for a ski trip and were more than pleased with the accomadations. The inn and hostel provides a comfortable, laid back stmosphere. Yet, the room and living spaces are extremely clean and up to date. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to make guests' experiences enjoyable. This place is highly recommended and we can't wait to return for another stay.
P.S. Eat at "LaAzteca" right next door. It's great!

Stayed at RM Inn & Chalet the middle week of Dec. 2010. Came in from ILL by Amtrack for a week of skiing. Train station only 3.5 blocks away but Chivi (whom I didn't know at the time) unexpectedly picked me up at the station and drove me to the hostel. At 57 yrs. old I felt very much at home in the upstairs dorm bedroom, kitchen, and common areas. Conversations with other guests (and Paisley) were very enlightening & entertaining and went far in making my week in Winter Park a very good time. Every guest seem to get along great during the time I was there. Shuttle bus stop to ski area just right outside the building; Safeway Grocery Store directly across the road; I rented skis just 1 block away (thanks again, Dave, for the coupon and for helping get lift tickets); I used the locked shed in the back for ski storage, and the guest computer came in very handy.
Thanks again to Dave, Chivi, Bhruna (happy birthday), and Paisley for making my week away from work very enjoyable.
