“Bonus for location”

Ski trip to winter park from dec. 29-jan 3. Excellent!!! Only Pet friendly hotel in town! Staff friendly! Grocery store right across the street! Inner tubing snow hill right across the street!!! Hot rub and indoor pool!! Great hotel, very family friendly and kind management. One of the managers gave us ski lift coupons ( but one, get one free). My wife rented ski equipment ( ski, boots, and poles for $10) from "ski broker" right across the street. This sort of hotel really gives your wallet relief with how expensive winter park is. Hope others have the same grand experience we did. Happy new year!!!

“Homey Family feeling”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 March 2010

We just came up from Fort Collins to ski Winter Park. This hotel was perfect, not crazied like Winter Park is. More family orientated, Pros-Location,staff, rooms, balconies, clean roomsCons poor breakfast, parking lot needs to be redone.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 June 2009

We did an in-house exchange and we can't say enough about the Pinnacle Lodge and it's staff. Everyone from management to housekeeping was great, they make you feel like family instead of a vistor. They were very accommodating and well informed. Gave great tips on places to eat and things to see. Views were spectacular. We would recommend Pinnacle Lodge to everyone. My husband, myself as well as our friends fell in love with the staff as well as the lodge. THANKS FOR A GREAT TIME , we will return. The staff should give training lessons to several other places espically on how to be friendly and informative.

“WORTHWHILE VISIT”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 June 2009

We made a timeshare exchange for this location to visit the Rocky Mtn Natl Park. We were pleased with the many attractions that were close within 30 minutes drive of the Lodge. We stayed in a kitchenette suite. The downfall was that there was no dishwasher and it had a very small single sink. The rooms we were very clean and the furniture was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lodge has a small hotel like atmosphere. DVD players are available to rent and there is a guest laundry room to wash and dry your clothers for $1 per load. The indoor pool is small and is 3/4 ft deep all around. Therefore it is good for family with young children. Self serve breakfeast included with stay. Internet access available. Since it is in a small town right next to Winter Park a major ski area and we were there during off season, it was pretty quite and most stores and shops closed early. Variety of restaurants nearby. Overall we were well pleased with the location, lodge and service.

“New Ownership/ Mgmt in late 2006”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2009

This property became part of Silverleaf Resorts in late 2006, so please consider this when reading various reviews. I stayed here in January 2007 and it was excellent. I have stayed at more expensive places where the decor was nicer; however, the Pinnacle Lodge was very warm and accommodating. The staff was superb!!! They were very attentive and met our every need. If you do not need to stay on the mountain for ski-in, ski-out convenience, I highly recommend this lodge.
