“Nice clean place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

We were staying in Fraser for a Winter Park ski weekend, and we stayed 2 nights. Safeway is right across the street, and the Winter Park shuttle bus (FREE) is right across the parking lot. We were greeted immediately as we walked in the door at check in and can't say enough about the staff. At check-in, the room price came out to more than I had booked it for, but the situation was immediately fixed. Friendly, helpful staff, and nice clean rooms. The only suggestion I would make is to have more tables available in the breakfast area. Hubby liked that they had AXE men's body wash/shampoo for the guys. We would definitely stay here again!

“Convienently located.”

When we arrived at the hotel, we laughed because we had booked a "Tower Suite Room" and then upon arriving, saw that the hotel is only 2storys tall. However entering our room, the room itself far exceeded our expectations. Huge room, big jacuzzi in the livingroom, nice big bed, mini fridge, 2 balconies. For a couple, it was awesome. Its my impression that they have diffrent styles of rooms. For familys on a budget, they also have rooms with kitchens. There was an indoor pool with a jacuzzi that looked clean and inviting, but we never used it do to the one in our room. They also have a complimentary breakfast that was decent. There is a Safeway grocery store right across the street which is convienent. But what we liked most of all is that there was a free town shuttle bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you and your skis to the Winter Park Resort. The hotel staff were very friendly as well. We will definitley go back. FYI, we booked our stay over the New Year Holiday, as far as nightlife, this town pretty much is shut down by 10pm. Enjoy.

My husband, teenaged son and I stayed at the Pinnacle Lodge after finding the lodging on Tripadvisor. Our vacation travels had been delayed because we had just driven through the Rocky Mountain National Park during a sleet storm in late June, so we were happy to find lodging available so late in the day. As a result, we were able to overlook the leaking water pipes in the bathroom and the skimpy continental breakfast. However, when we checked out, our teenaged son accidently left his brand new Solomon hiking shoes in our room. When we called the front desk later in the day, the clerk did confirm they had the shoes and a manager would mail them to us ASAP. Well, after numerous phone calls and emails, we'd received no reply and no shoes as promised. I finally spoke with a manager 2 weeks later who confirmed they still had the shoes, but told me I'd have to send them a prepaid shipping box before they would send them to me. The postal service said, "no can do", so I mailed the Pinnacle $20 plus a self addressed shipping label from the USPS which the Pinnacle returned to me- without the shoes! Having traveled all over the world, even hotels as far away as Switzerland have quickly returned forgotten items - but NOT THE PINNACLE! This was 2 months ago. I wonder who is now wearing new Solomons in Frazier, Colorado?

Ski trip to winter park from dec. 29-jan 3. Excellent!!! Only Pet friendly hotel in town! Staff friendly! Grocery store right across the street! Inner tubing snow hill right across the street!!! Hot rub and indoor pool!! Great hotel, very family friendly and kind management. One of the managers gave us ski lift coupons ( but one, get one free). My wife rented ski equipment ( ski, boots, and poles for $10) from "ski broker" right across the street. This sort of hotel really gives your wallet relief with how expensive winter park is. Hope others have the same grand experience we did. Happy new year!!!
