Can you say road trip?!? Well, that's what my girlfriend and I were attempting last week, but my car had other ideas. Long story short, we had to stop in Fort Collins to get my car fixed. We checked a several hotels close off the interstate with reasonable rates and finally found The Guest House. They had a pool, first hotel we came across with one (finally put our suits to use). The only problem I remember having was our bathroom fan/light thingy, though they fixed it shortly after we called down. They had a free breakfast, came in handy while were pinching pennies because of my car. Though, it was bad car fortune we even stayed in Fort Collins, Colorado-it turned into a great memory for us. Thanks gals.

The room has a stinky feet, urine smell to it which they mask with strong room deodorizer. The carpet literally turns your feet black. Put my brand new bedroom slippers on and the bottoms look like I have been walking out in the dirt with them. The tub has chips in it, the facets leak. Skimpy towels.... Free high speed wi-fi is a joke, only works if your room happens to be next to the office... About the only thing this place has going for it is the location on and off the interstate. This place needs some major renovating and a through cleaning of carpets, and couches...Never coming back to this motel...UGH!!!

I recently stayed for 4 nights. Guesthouse offers a great product for the price. Its rooms are spacious, clean, and many/most contain coffee makers, small fridge and microwave. The staff is courteous and very helpful. There is a computer available in the lobby. And a serve-yourself free continental breakfast with a full array of juices, pastries, cereal and fruits.

I haven't seen the upgraded rooms (with a jacuzzi), but the basic room in which I stayed was a wonderful bargain for the price.

This may very well be one of, if not the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is a dump. We had to change rooms twice just to find a room with a semi-operating air conditioner...good luck finding a room that smelled half way decent. Smelled horrible in every room we tried. TV was old and had lines on every channel. The beds were very uncomfortable.... carpets were unsanitary. Found crumbs next to the bed. Hair in the bathroom with something unidentifiable in the sink.... basically stay anywhere else in Ft Collins... even sleep in a booth at Mc Donalds. You will be more comfortable. Oh yeah.. the pool. The water is even more murky than the streams outside Chicago... that should tell you something
