Nothing remarkable one way or the other. Some staff were very pleasant and helpful, others less so.

Our son got into a charter school in Fort Collins at the last minute, and we stayed here for five weeks while finding a place to rent or buy. We were pleasantly surprised at how accommodating, kind, and warm almost all of the staff were. Not one staff member was unpleasant even once. The evening Concierge-room staff are unbelievably friendly and anticipate your every need. One day, I was under the weather and requested that the room be made up within a one-hour window while I was picking up my son at school. We came back to find the head housekeeper and the head of housekeeping rushing to finish up our room. We were never made to feel bad about any of our special requests--which were plentiful :)

The only criticism is that the pool hours end at 11:30 p.m., which is ridiculous as the noise from the outdoor portion of the pool easily echoes all the way up to the sixth floor. However, when we complained, the staff encouraged the pool-goers to move to the indoor-portion of the pool, which echoed much less. Also, I was informed that the hotel is going to start closing the pool at 10 p.m.

Some of the past reviews mentioned dirty elevators, cold staff, and slow restaurant service. In five weeks, we saw no signs of these.

We originally planned to stay at an extended stay hotel and we are so glad we chose the Marriott instead. We would not have had a luxurious suite with large picture windows and great views, an on-site restaurant, and a willing-and-eager staff to accommodate all our needs. We felt pampered as if we were at a 5-star hotel instead of just making the best out of an inconvenient situation.

The Fort Collins Marriott Hotel and staff were a blessing.

We visit Fort Collins occasionally and this is always our preferred hotel. It's clean, quiet, and has a pleasant staff. The location is ideal and centrally located for us and our needs.

We stayed one night while passing through to Rocky Mountain National Park. There were two desk clerks and I still had to wait several minutes to check in as one of the clerks was too busy to check me in. The property is older and in need of a remodel. The room was a bit dated and showed wear. It was a descent stay for the night before heading up into the park.
