Was initially impressed with physical layout but that was only good impression my wife and I were to come away with after 4 nights in this establishment. The owner's teenage son who had the desk duty on several occasions was condescending and unhelpful on more than one occassion - I fully agree with "wyodiva" impressions of this young man's refusal to be helpful. In particular, I asked him to convey a recommendation to the owner and was told that the owner probably wouldn't listen to the recommendation - thanks a lot! - Choice Privelege members and any other guest deserves better than that.
1. Coffee not available after 5 PM - half of lobby darkened (to make yourself a nightime cup of tea is really difficult using the Braille method!) - owner's nephew advised that "we don't turn lights on bacause no one goes there" - of course not!
2. Internet service is very spotty at night.
3. Maid service neglected to clean our room - returned late at night to unmade bed, no towels, etc.
4. Parking lot and porte-cochere area trecherous for three full days after a snowstorm - solid ice with no attempt by management to provide clear parking slots or to apply melting crystals to entry area or walkways.
5. Restaurant recommendations consisted of listing the 5 fast food establishments at the nearby intersection - no help there!
6. Breakfast hours not extended/modified on weekends/holidays as at other Comfort Suites.
My overall impression of this establishment was a management attitude of disdain for their residents - I honestly felt that we guests were considered a nuisance and a disruption to their routine. Now that I think about it, I never once saw a smile on the face of any staff member!
Untrained family members and relatives should be replaced by hotel staff who want to do a good job.
My next trip to the Longmont area will be spent at the Hampton Inn.
