I had to attend a conference at the Inverness and had my mind made up that I was going to be "trapped" on site with little or nothing to do during my down time. What a wonderful surprise to find out the the hotel had a free shuttle that could take you to nearby shopping and restaurants. The staff was more than accommodating when it came to explaining the nearby light rail schedule and offered up great dining options. when the shuttle was unavailable they even called me a taxi so I could go to dinner at a suggested restaurant, they called and made a reservation for me so a table was ready when I arrived and then picked me up in the shuttle back to the hotel. The staff definitely made the stay here enjoyable.

Our overnight stay was FANTASTIC! We purchased one night on the "club level" floor through a Groupon coupon, which entitled us to complementary snacks and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) in the club floor lounge during "Happy Hour" and free breakfast in the morning.
We had a fun time in the evening at The Spotted Dog Lounge, which featured free peel-and -eat shrimp and fantastic service. We were offered shuttle service within a 5-mile radius of the Hotel, which is very close to the Park Meadows Mall and Ikea...We were even allowed late check-out (1:00 pm) the next day. From the check-in at the front desk to check-out the next day, all employees that we encountered were professional, friendly, and accommodating!
Our only regret was that we were not able to use the facilities such as the tennis courts, golf course, outdoor pool, etc., as it was January...
We'd definitely stay at the Inverness again and recommend it highly!
