We stayed in a king suite (a living room with a pull-out couch and a bedroom with a king bed) for a couple of days. The bed was comfortable, the couch was not too bad, as far as pull-out couches go. The rate was $99/night, including a full breakfast, and I felt that was a good deal. The breakfast was decent (eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, donuts, etc.) and the staff was nice. The coffee was horrid (it usually is in hotel buffets), but there is a Starbucks in the Albertson's grocery store down the street.
Our room had a microwave, coffee maker, and a refrigerator. The refrigerator was bigger than many of the ones I've seen in other hotels. There was an in-room safe and lots of drawers to store our things. The closet was too small though, because it was stuffed with the in-room safe and ironing board. There were flat screen tvs with remotes in both the bedroom and living room
Unfortunately, we stayed on the side of the hotel that faces the main road and it was LOUD! This could have been due to the fact that the wall heating unit was not properly insulated and we could see daylight through it (as you might imagine, this caused quite a draft). The road quiets down around 11 to 12 pm, then starts getting noisy again around 7 am. The walls were also thin and we could hear our neighbors bustling about.
The pool and hot tub area were small, but clean. Unfortunately they were out of order, so we didn't get to try them. The fitness center looked good--it wasn't huge, but they had 3 or 4 cardio machines and a universal machine.
I would consider staying here again because it was cheap and clean, but only if I got a room on the other side of the building. The location is convenient--a few minutes from the mall in one direction and a few minutes from downtown in the other.
