Need to clean rooms better. KATHY cculd be more accommodating. We needed lights in the living room to visit and she was rude about letting us turn them on. Food was not very good. Good fudge though.

We stayed in the cottage with the private hot tub. Everything about our stay here was fabulous. The rooms were clean and cozy and come with all the amenities including coffee maker and blow dryer. There is a fridge but no microwave.
We had something different for breakfast every morning but i must say our favorite was the pancakes..and gluten free!
We were a little disappointed that was no wifi at the inn but it turned out to be a blessing as we had to "unplug" . We barely even turned on the tv.
Beautiful scenery out of every window in the cottage and very quiet away from the town.

If you're looking for a wonderful, quiet and intimate spot surrounded by beauty, the Apple Orchard Inn is everything you need. We decided to elope and Kathy at the Inn was kind enough to help us our flowers and cake as well as navigate a private spot on the property for the ceremony. She was SO HELPFUL in putting the details together. She made suggestions on which cabin would be best and helped us to make the entire weekend perfect.
Our room was meticulously clean and in perfect order for us. The breakfasts (cooked by Kathy) were delicious! The entire vibe of the Inn was friendly and laid back while making sure you had everything you needed. If you're looking for a intimate getaway or just a place to stay while you explore Durango, we would highly recommend the Apple Orchard Inn.

In over 35 years of travel, possibly the best B & B we ever stayed at. Clean, reasonable, quiet, beautiful grounds and views, exceptional breakfasts. Kathi's advice for activities and restaurants was dead on.
