As an owner of a Bed & Breakfast in Oregon I know how difficult the job can be.
I was greeted and treated to an ice cold local micro brew and given a nice discount on my room due to the fact that I was on business and had to fly out very early the next day.
I will most definitely be back and schedule my return flight for later in the day so I can enjoy the breakfast. The surrounding views and the vibe was very relaxing.... don't miss this off the beaten path gem!

This B&B has it all - great little cottages perfectly and individually decorated. Some have fireplaces and one has a hot tub. The stars at night are brilliant and the cool mountain air is breathtaking. The Inn is in an old apple orchard. The hosts are delightful and the breakfast is scrumptious. It is a great place for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Oh, make sure you meet Teddy, the blue Ragdoll.

I sort of picked this one off the internet as a poprt-of-call on a 10 day road trip for myself, my husband and an adult daughter. We were definitely impressed! We stayed in 2 seperate rooms in the main house. they also have cabins (that name does not do justice to them). athe property is located 1 block from the main highway and at first you may be a bit downhearted looking at the neighboring properties, but this placeis great! It is immaculate with a small stream that runs around the front and through the xcabvin areas, which also have quite a number of flower beds, etc - very picturesque!

the rooms we had were very comfortable - roomy and with all the home-y touches.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful - the new owner is relatively new to the business, but is sure to make a name for herself! Definitely recommended!

we stayed at the apple orchard in during our trip to durango co in january, the inn was very quite and relaxing with plenty of room for my 5year old to play in the snow. when we first got to the cottage and were unpacking our things, we where welcomed by 5 deer that wondered the grounds and even came as close as our front porch!! this was so amazing, the deer seemed to show no fear as one came within about 2 ft of my husband who was video taping the whole thing. kathy gave great recommendations to local resturants and attraction, happy hour was fun also. the breakfast prepared by kathy was out of this world amazing, we enjoyed every meal. my 5 year old ate every meal until she just couldnt eat anymore, she loved it. we have to tip our hats to kathy and the apple orchard inn for making this a great part of our trip to durango co!!!
