Room beside jacuzzi has bed bugs! When I found this out I inspected the mattress near the head board, seen they were there for a while. Blood and the bugs, gross.

This motel is not worth staying in. We stayed there because we had trouble finding a room elsewhere and had been told that Budget was good. Boy were we wrong to stay there. The air conditioner did not ever get even cool, much less cold. The inn keeper finally gave us a fan but it was so hot that we did not get any sleep. When i let the person at the desk know how bad the room was he just sail " oh well". He did not ogger any help at all. I will never stay here ever again and we go to Durango at least 3 times a year. We will find someplace else to stay.
Worst motel ever.

On paper, it looks okay, but don't believe it. The rooms are small, broken curtain, saggy mattresses, stained cloth chairs, cigarette burns in carpet, a pool that was a glorified bath tub (didn't look too clean either), seedy clientele in addition to being noisy at all hours, amateur (at best) caulking all over, doors in need of painting, gnats everywhere... The only amenity was two small bars of soap - no clock radio, no shampoo, no coffee pot (but you can get a cup of brown water from a thermos at the office when they open at 8 am) minimal towels for three people... Durango should be embarrassed to have this sorry excuse for a motel in their town. It is the worst place I have stayed in for decades and I had to have my kids put up with it, too. It's a good thing that the wi-fi eventually started to work so they could look at something other than an eyesore. You would have to be desparate to stay here. I only gave it a star to make sure my opinion registered, but then, there actually were two beds. As far as a recommendation (below), it would have to be to someone I really, really disliked.

this hotel was horrible!!!! over priced, there was ants all over the place, the air conditioner didnt work, the outlets were falling out of the wall, went and asked for a different room and they asked me if i left food out cause of the ants being there , omg are you kidding me!!!! so your not allowed to eat at this hotel cause it will draw ants apparently, and the new room they gave me the only thing missing in it was the ants other wise once agian a major dump! it is a over priced dump!!!! never agian will i ever stay at this hotel, i would have rather slept in my car
