Didn't know what to expect and what we all got out of this trip was phenomenal. The staff was so nice and the kids loved the guides. And the food--wow--the food was overboard! They made everything wonderful. My kids are already wanting to go back!

Colorado Trails Ranch was a wonderful experience. Staff met us in the driveway with a warm welcome. We appreciated the rustic, clean, warm cabins that are nestled in the woods, a short walk from the dining hall. Meals were homecooked, served in family style by friendly staff who quickly learned our names. Kids enjoyed the fishing, trail rides and the game room. Oops forgot the soda fountain. The ranch staff was accessible at all times: provided suggestions about Durango and the surrounding areas, gave first aid when needed for bug bites & bruses and make sure that we never went without a water bottle. Don't miss this all inclusive resort that focuses on family fun!

I took my family to Colorado Trails Ranch for a once in a lifetime wedding experience. I can't say enough about the quality of service at the ranch. Everything from the outstanding food to the Kid's activities Director participation. My 5 year old and 9 year old daughters enjoyed fun filled days horse back riding, fishing, swimming, hiking, and the game room. The loved the old fashioned ice cream parlor everyone evening. The Colorado Trails Ranch Staff made every effort for special requests and made us feel like part of their ranch "family". The cabins are very clean and well positioned in walking distance for most of the acitivities. They are still secluded enough you can sit on the deck and enjoy the magnificient scenery. We definately will be back to enjoy the ranch and all it has to offer. I can't say enough good things about the kind and helpful customer service by all the Staff members. Highly recommended for all ages!

We just returned from our second visit to Colorado Trails and enjoyed it just as much as before. Jeannie and Mike do a wonderful job, you feel so welcome and cared for. The horses were excellent, calm and sure footed. The wranglers took us to beautiful trails so every ride was different. Moving cattle is one of my favorites, and it was a blast. Good food, comfortable acomodations, and good company made our vacation one to remember.
