The hotel needs to smarten up its act where the shuttle service is concerned. We arrived after a 10 hour flight and waited at least half an hour for it. In the meantime other hotel shuttles were arriving frequently. When ours eventually came it stopped for a few seconds without the driver getting out, and then drove off before we had a chance to reach it.We were unable to phone the hotel as we could not connect to the American network. We were then forced to pay 25 dollars for a taxi. When we arrived at the hotel we complained to the male receptionist who became very defensive and said the shuttle was not allowed to stop there. This begs the question of how on earth can it pick up passengers! We could see we were not going to get anywhere with him so we gave up on it as we were jet lagged! The next day we noticed two very smart shuttles outside the hotel. Pity they don't use them properly!!

I chose this motel because it allows me to park my car here while traveling. I suppose it fills that function but other than that it is really in disrepair and the service is below par: very perfunctory at front desk, when my air conditioner wasn't working he just gave me another key with no apology or explanation, rooms are very dark and depressing. TVs are also old...For a few dollars more I am quite sure you can find a more uplifting spot...I know I will next time.

When we first arrived they misplaced my husbands credit card, blaming us; they eventually found it and shrugged it off. No toiletries or coffee in room so had to go down to get some. We left for dinner and when we came back, room door was wide open. Apparently they gave our room to someone else when we went for dinner. Thank god whomever entered, did not take anything, but still, the door was left open, and our key deactivated. When I talked to the receptionist about it, he just shrugged it off and was rude. Asked for a wakeup call at 3:00am - never called. Thank god I set my phone alarm because the clock radio didnt work as well. Called the front desk, and she laughed - she forgot! We had to catch a shuttle for the airport, and that was 25 minutes late. The room smelled musty, and the coffee in the lobby was so disgusting I nearly threw up. We have staying in hundreds of hotels and I can honestly say it was in our top 3 for worst!

When we arrived to the hotel at 3:45 pm the manager gave us our room key and we went up to our room. It was still being cleaned. We went downstairs and told the manager. He had the audacity to tell us it's not check in time yet! OK, so if it wasn't quite check in time, WHY would you send us to the room? Well, we went up to the the room every 15 minutes to see if it was ready and it ended up taking a bloody hour to make up our room. Granted this is a comfort inn and not the Hyatt, but we were tired from traveling and didn't want the run around. What really gets me is that I called the main reservation number who told me to call customer relations. They didn't answer their phone three times and they were supposedly open. Go figure. It was a big waste of time and energy. This is not way to run a business.
