I can't say enough bad about this hotel-please don't stay here! It's 90 dollars for a trailer quality "motel". When we checked in (Todd front desk) we went to the room only to hear a loud party on the floor and see lots of people going into one room. I went downstairs to talk to Todd and he said we've already had lots of complaints, I've asked them to keep it down, they are checking out tomorrow. I said so what are we supposed to do tonight? He said you can change hotels if you want. I said no, if you can't get your guests under control then I will call the police. Which I did. I assume they finally came b/c at some point it got quieter. Pitiful service. If you must stay here-avoid the airport shuttle-extremely rude, The phrase Comfort Inn at Denver International is a misnomer-it's 15-20 minutes away. Beware.

I regretted it not reading the reviews before I book this hotel. Here are my experiences:

- unfriendly service
- one entrance and one exit
- 2nd floor was noisy all night
- 10 people in a room (room 227)
- loud music/tv
- same loud people that hung out at the parking lot next to my room.
- smoking

We don't ask a lot in a hotel when we are only there to sleep but this place managed to suck the life out of our evening in a hurry. We stayed here as we landed very late and had made reservations at what we thought would be a good location. It is near nothing, almost in an industrial area. They had gotten over a foot of snow a week prior to our arrival and most of the parking was still snowed in. The back door was locked at night and we couldn't even get in with our door key (is that legal??). It was 15 degrees and we had to walk all the way around the building to go to our room after checking in. The parking is sparse to say the least, especially with all the snow. Breakfast was not good and they close it down at 9am. Who stops breakfast at 9am? Strange stay. Rooms have no outlets, lights are so dim you can't see anything. Just bizarre. We stay in enough hotels to know that this one is a bad egg. Adding insult to injury the people at the front desk were not pleasant to deal with. We had no issues and asked nothing of them, they just seemed to loathe our existence. Again, bizarre.

I really can't understand the more recent reviews of the Comfort Inn. It did seem a bit worn but we thought it was clean and that the beds and bedding were on the "better side" for this type of hotel. The rooms were quiet and we felt the room and bathrooms were clean and well kept. The continental
breakfast was fairly standard but we appreciated the attendent that worked to keep the area clean and the food restocked. We have stayed in hundreds of hotels / motels over the years and can't quite understand the terrible ratings for this establishment.
