“Very Sketchy”

This is the scariest hotel i have ever seen. When we first arrived at the hotel it was about 10am. Our other party hadnt arrived but we checked in anyway. It was dirty and the staff was semi creepy. we were in our hotel room for less then an hour. the doors had about three inches of space on the bottom and we didnt feel safe so we left. we wouldnt even leave our luggage in the room. when we came back our room reeked of smoke and there was a cigarette burn in the comforter. we left 20min later. the other group didnt even see there rooms but we were all charged for the rooms for the entire week. the staff told us that they had to kick out some customers to make room for us... uh we were the only people there besides the staff. please dont stay there... unless you want to find a place to shoot a good horror film, or you have a fetish for bacteria.

“Boy oh Boy”

I wasnt sure how I was going to rate this place. I stayed here as part of a church youth group for one night. Our first impression was horried. I do believe we would have not even got off the bus if we weren't in such a hurry to get to our concert date. The outside of this property will truly turn your stomach. It is a large property, but I think most of the rooms are unusable. We had 16 rooms. Our standard is to ask for the rooms to be close to each other. Our rooms were on all 3 floors and hundreds of feet from each other. The rooms were clean, but thats about it. Some of the windows would not lock. Some of the showers become a small trickle. The a/c worked very well but was musty smelling.
Now with all that said, I found out for a contractor doing some work on the place the following information. The people that now own the place have only had it for a short time. I believe that improvments are on the way. The resturant is undergoing some work now. Maybe they will do some work on the whole place soon.
The neighborhood does look questionable, however; one of our female members left her purse on the curb in the parking lot and it was still there at 11 pm, some 6 hours later. The breakfast was OK. Lots of danishes, juices, cakes and the like. Some bagels, toast and cold frosted flakes. The staff was extreamly nice.

Just think twice before booking here.

“Keep looking! Better to pay a few more dollars!”

The staff is nice, I will say that but that is the end of it. I don't know where the rooms are that are in the pictures but I don't think they are at the Rockies Inn. The bathroom is cramped. It didn't look very clean. The room overall looked like it was falling apart. The room smelled musty and was dimly lit. I just did not like the feel of it at all. I would spend the extra money to stay somewhere else. Unless you are looking for the cheapest place in town and don't care then stay here otherwise I would keep looking! I really thought our car would be gone by morning! That's not a Good thing!

“Don't stay here”

I don't recommend the Rockies Inn. Very sketchy. I did not feel safe there as a single woman. It was rundown on the outside, but my room was actually very clean.
The owner was very friendly and tried to make my stay here comfortable, but I just did not like this place.
The high speed wireless internet did not work in my room.
The continental breakfast was disgusting; the worst I've ever had. I couldn't even eat it; I had to dump it out and find breakfast elsewhere. If you want to stay in this area I would recommend the La Quinta or the Hampton Inn, both on Colorado.
