“Ideal for downtown business - happy hour & breakfast a plus”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

I've stayed twice recently at the Magnolia for business. The courtesy car service eliminated my need to rent a car or take a cab. Free wine/beer during happy hour and a really nice free breakfast - probably the best quality I've had for a free hotel breakfast. This is a vintage hotel that's been nicely renovated. My king room was small but all of the essentials were top notch - comfy bed, big tub, nice toiletries, clean, quiet, stylish and the hvac worked. There is a small bar/restaurant on site and a Starbucks on the corner. Within walking distance of several top notch restaurants. Helpful staff. Will stay again.

“Great location, good staff, okay accomodations”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

Location was excellent - just 1 block from 16th street free ride bus. Staff was good and helpful. Had to call maintenance as soon as I walked in the room. Needed to call maintenance b/c of lack of heat in the morning but was checking out anyway. Lot of hassle for a one night stay. Staff person at breakfast was fantastic. My friends and I showed up 15 minutes late and the gentleman went back and made all of us our own plates with eggs and bacon!

Room Tip: Previously stayed in a one bedroom suite but decided on the 2 bedroom this time. Much more room in...

“Great place to stay in downtown Denver”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

I recently stayed at the Magnolia with my family a group of 8. This hotel was in a great location, very central to everything and the rooms were brilliant. We booked 4 x King Suites and they are brilliant - lots of space to hangout and even a kitchen. Our group was a mixture of teenage boys, 20 somethings and parents and everyone had a great stay. The cookies and downstair area is a great place to hangout and really appreciated easy access to print out boarding passes for our flights. Great value and the only disappointment was we didnt get stay a few days longer.

Room Tip: Pick the King Suites - great value and lots of room with a separate lounge and kitchen

“If I need to be away from home, the Magnoia is my preferred alternative.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

The valet team is the first face and last face of the Magnolia experience. They make one feel immediately welcome. The front desk is the second face and second last face of the Magnolia experience, the business experience. It is painless and pleasant. Lots of smiling faces and all very helpful. In between, the Magnolia has many others, some of whom we see and others in the background who all contribute to a comfortable boutique experience. If one chooses, the Magnolia is extremely well situated for restaurants (there are many very good restaurants), all major sports events, concerts, museums and most busniess.

“With a new staff the Magnolia would be my favorite hotel in Colorado!”

The king suite was an amazing value and the hotel is marvelous. The staff, however, did not win a place in my heart!
