“Funky fun”

This was my second stay at the Curtis and I love it . It has a great atmosphere for those of you looking for something different. The Bar is always hopping. The Happy hour menu is extensive and value priced. The location is great for both entertainment and business. A great place too stay if you want to collect those HHonor points, but not stay in a large hotel. And the cookies at check in are tasty

So glad you enjoyed the hotel! Our association with Doubletree has been great - glad you enjoy the HHonors points and the yummy chocolate chip cookies!

“Fun hotel in a great location.”

The Curtis is a fun & hip place to stay in Denver. The staff was extremely friendly and The Office bar and restaurant in the hotel is a great breakfast spot. My 14 yo stepdaughter liked checking out the different floors--we stayed on the Floor of Champions.

“Next door to the convention center, environmental friendly”

Stayed here for a conference in Nov 2011.
The location is good as it is only 5 minutes to the convention center where my conference was.
The hotel itself was very cozy and the staff very friendly. There were also a lot of pets in the hotel, which is quite interesting for me as I love the animals.

The hotel is quite environmental friendly, you can get a five dollar voucher if you'd like to reuse the towels for another day.

“Fun family time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

Rarely do I explore my own downtown area with my children. Last weekend my wife, kids and I stayed at this property on hhonor points to celebrate a birthday and I am so happy that we did. Our adventure consisted of exploring the 16th Street Mall, a visit to the Denver Aquarium and dinner at the Paramount to watch NE vs. Denver Bronco game. The next morning we had breakfast at the ‘Corner Office’ which is adjacent to the hotel. The staff was fantastic and the accommodations were spacious and clean. We were on the 14th floor which has a TV Mania Theme. The entire property has so much personality and fun. I wish all Doubletrees were like this one. My children loved the chocolate chip oatmeal cookies that are available anytime and we loved the unique room service items. I would recommend for families as well as for business travelers. P.S. you can bring your dogs, too. Only thing missing was a pool.

“Laid Back/Fun Atmosphere and right off 16th Street Mall”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

Ease of access to 16th street mall, many food options within walking distance and very fun and laid back hotel atmosphere with a variety of themed floors. Pleasant and helpful staff. Restaurant and bar located in the hotel. Board games to pick from to entertain yourself or the kids while there.

Room Tip: The two rooms that I stayed in only had a shower, so if a bathtub is needed you should ask if they h...
