“Hidden Treasure”

In Denver to attend Concert Pepsi Centre, were staying out of Town, after 2 days decided to move closer, bus rides were not so good. Well the Comfort Inn what a find, right in the middle of city, everything we wanted to do within walking distance. Great restraunts all around. Staff were fantastic, helpfu, informative. Room was fantastic, views to the mountains and overlooking the mall. There were fire works one evening when we were getting ready to go out, we had no idea where, but the reflections in all the glass buildings from our room were unbelievable. It was like our own show. Brown Palace is across the road and has own walkway connecting. It was a must see, very up market. But worth a lunch just to have a look around. Beer house 1 block down was great for catching up with friends, 120 beers and lagers on tap, made for a great night out. BTW our Keith Urban concert was FANTASTIC as well, what a perfect week in Denver. Thanks Comfort Inn!

Room Tip: If you can get a room on the eastern corner, with the curved glass wall overlooking the city, take i...

“Great Value!”

The room was cozy, but very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, you can walk everywhere, and also there is a bus, which takes you anywhere downtown (and it is free).
Breakfast buffet in the morning was nice, a lot of choices.

“Great if you're into time travel!”

I've given this hotel an 'average' review based on the fact the location was fantastic! Right in the middle of downtown Denver and pretty much convenient to everywhere you would want to go to as a visitor.

However, the room was old, in bad condition and could do with one hell of an update. It looked as if it was decorated in the 70s. The bathrooms were tiny and we struggled with space in there and we're not big people by any stretch (excuse the pun). The bed was old, uncomfortable and moved around quite a lot just by sitting on it.

The night we stayed they had NO room service after 11. A bit odd, not sure if they don't tend to have it past that time or whether this was a one off, but 24 hour room service at a big chain like this was what I expected.

It would have been ok if this room has been reasonably priced but it was about £80. But I guess you're paying for the location. One good thing was it did come with breakfast. Very basic but sufficient. If we were to come back to Denver which we probably will as we loved it, we will probably stay in the Curtis Denver which we both loved.

“Good value hotel.”

To summarise, for the price I cannot complain.
Yes it is an average three star hotel, with three star rooms and facilities (it does now need some modernising), however it is very close to ameneties such as the 16th Street Mall and a reasonable walk from the pepsi centre.
The breakfast facilities are good however and there is a good choice of food on offer.
I would suggest this hotel needs serious consideration to be used for a short city break or as somewhere to crash after a night out in Denver's superb bars / clubs, but I wouldn't want to be staying here much longer than a few days.
I would definitely consider a short break here again, simply for its value.

“clean, good location”

Stayed here on business for meetings; staff very nice; rooms small but clean. Breakfast buffet was fine (nothing fancy, but who has time when you're heading out to early meetings?). The business center was 2 computers and 1 printer off lobby --- adequate but not great. The location was across street from Brown Palace and 2 blocks from shopping/walking mall. Not a bad deal.
