My husband & I stayed in Owen's room for a weekend getaway. Immediately upon arriving I fell in love with the Inn. These homes were beautifully renovated - they payed attention to every detail. I just loved the stone paths around the place. The room we had was large and had ammenities I've never seen at a hotel or other B&Bs. It was truly unique. They made an effort to stress comfort and relaxation.....from the oversized bedding, projection tv, to the stereo, fridge, bathtub, etc. I really felt like someone was taking care of us.
The owner and staff were great too. Stephen greated us right away and was so friendly - made us feel right at home. One day while we were gone with friends we had left our car lights on from an earlier outing. Stephen left us a note to let us know - without that we would've had a dead battery come morning. The dining area was comfortable and had a nice patio you could eat on, weather permitting. There was a nice offering of coffee with flavors, teas, etc. The breakfasts were simple, but very good and made to order. Tracy was really fun to talk to and also made us feel at home.
We had friends in Denver, so they were our guide but there were brochures throughout the lobby with a lot of information on the city and its sites. The Inn is located in a very urban area. Perhaps people not used to this would raise an eyebrow - but it looks like this part of town, like a lot of urban areas around the country, is seeing a surge in development. We had no issues with the area and had absolutely quiet nights and felt totally safe. Personally, I'm glad we had a car, but downtown is really close.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
