“Fell in love with the Gregory Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

I was very impressed with this B&B. The architecture was beautiful, our room was great, and the services was great. I felt more comfortable in the warm room than I do in my own! We started our morning off with the best coffee that I had ever had and the breakfast was wonderful. I can't believe that I had been spending more money at the Embassy Suites when I could have been staying at the Gregory Inn the entire time; the rooms are better, the service is better, and the breakfast was by far better. Will definitely be making this trip again.

“We didn't need a political message!”

We've stayed at the Gregory Inn a couple of times and always like it. Very nice and friendly staff. Will be back and still rate it near tops for B & B's. However, we were a little annoyed by the "We are the 99%" or Occupy Wall Street sign in front of the place. My wife and I don't need to hear or see your political views while having a relaxing weekend. It's also a little ironic that a place that is fairly expensive would put up such a sign. If the "1%" is a part of your customer base and the economy is tight, best not to offend them.

We welcome everyone here and enjoy all points of view. Our little “99%” sign at the far end of the property was actually given us by an oilman from Texas, a frequent and favorite guest, and we felt it was rather apolitical and non-partisan. Should any guest feel put off by anything in our Inn, just let us know and we’ll remove it during your stay. Our goal is your comfort and relaxation. We’re certainly not here to proselytize any idea. In the past we’ve removed Oriental statues, even a Bible from the Library, because of guests’ differing religious convictions. This one would have been so easily remedied if we’d only known.

“Very charming inn”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2011

The innkeeper at the Gregory Inn was extremely helpful, kind and made me feel at home. The setting is lovely with a great porch, My room was nice, although the stuffed animals probably attract dust and aren't really necesary, but the new bathroom was extremely clean. My only hesitation for returning would be its location because I was on foot during my visit and hoped to be a little close to the downtown area. If I had a car I wouldn't hesitate to stay there in the future.

“The highest score on the scale!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 July 2011

Denver was one of the places I visited during my around the world trip and I stayed in the Gregory Inn in March 2011.

The euphoria, the overwhelming sense of relief had accompanied my stay in the Gregory Inn in Denver. Taking a long fragrant bath, instead of another quick shower, was like a heaven after nearly 2 months on the way. What an unbelievable feeling to lie in a real bathtub with a drink in a hand! Long term traveling makes us to pay closer attention and appreciate all those little things, which happen to us.

Everything was perfectly clean, the room had a huge bed, a sofa, a desk were I could do my writings from the journey. The whole Inn was furnished with taste and attention to details and located in the walking distance from the downtown. The staff was very friendly!

In a few words - the highest score on the scale!

Moreover, when Stephen, the owner of the Inn, shared with me his own travel stories, I felt like a travel novice, although was nearly at the end of the around the world trip…
