My girlfriend and I stayed for 5 nights in the Conservatory room and we both agree that this was one of the highlights of our trip to The States.
From the moment we walked in we felt at home. Being the only guests for the first two nights, we were spoilt by the owners, even given a lift to the laundromat on our first afternoon there. Even when the place filled up, all the guests still received outstanding service.
The website photos don't do the place justice, the morning breakfast was incredible and the caretakers are never too busy for a story on the buildings history or what to do for the day.
Highly recommended for any planning a trip or get-away to Denver

A long overdue review. Six of us travelled to Denver from Pittsburgh last summer -- my wife and I and my two sons and their wife and girlfriend respectively. Our stay at Castle Marne was one of the highlights of the trip. Plenty of pictures taken and still talked about. Beautiful stone mansion, wonderful and delightful hosts and loved the breakfast and afternoon tea. The front porch and garden were enjoyable places for a respite. We were able to walk to a great restaurant and downtown was conveniently close. My wife and I stayed in the John T. Mason Room. The room was beautifully done, quiet and clean. Best of all, I got the credit for selecting Castle Marne. Hope to return some day.

We needed a getaway but didn't expect the stay to be so magical! The building is astounding and is immaculately cared for. One of the owners, Jim Peiker- made us feel welcome at once, showing us around the common room which had a cozy nook where my husband and I took a cup of tea later and worked on a puzzle. Home baked cookies were also a nice treat and there is a wonderful collection of stereographic images to view laid out on the coffee table. Each room has photos hanging in it of the same room in bygone days. i could have spent hours just enjoying the antiques and the details of the restoration.

We were shown around our rooms courteously by Jim and felt at home right away. We stayed in the Presidential suite which was so beautiful and spotlessly clean. We took advantage of the jetted whirlpool tub in the adjoining Solarium-so relaxing. We slept so comfortably and were treated to a first-class breakfast in the morning with perfect full service and engaging conversation. Jim and Diane Peiker were wonderful company. Before departing to the DAM (I do love floor 6!) we were offered recommendations for other places to visit while in Denver.
Perfect visit from beginning to end. We will be back as soon as we can!

on a short visit from Duluth, MN, my wife and I had enjoyed a great service on one of history filled Bed and Breakfasts in North America, I am so glad we did stay here. the Staff was super friendly, the afternoon tea was tasty and warm, home made cookies, candies and toffee. great opportunity to meet with other guests.
we stayed at the Tower room, splendid view, with a nice library.
the breakfast was a 5 star service, excellent.

We recommend this place to anyone visiting Denver or the Area. you will love it!!
