My husband and I went for a weekend getaway and this was our first time staying at the Capitol Hill Mansion. We aren't typically B & B people. The price was right, so we booked. CHM absolutely exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect - we like to walk and it was a short jaunt to every where we wanted to go - art museum, lo do, center for performing arts. The mansion itself has great personality and our room was bright, comfortable and clean. Great shower head and soft sheets. Breakfast was truly gourmet and delicious. And the service we received from our host Carl was impeccable. We will definitely be back.

As my husband also wrote, I was treated to a surprise 40th birthday party and overnight stay at the Mansion. Everything about the entire experience was perfect from the space, to the service, to the guest accommodations, to the amazing breakfast! Carl made sure all the guests felt welcome and taken care of, especially me. He really knows how to make the place feel like a home away from home. Our bed was the most comfortable I've experienced in a long while and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! I wouldn't change a thing!

If you want to stay in a wonderful late 1800's mansion home that has the best breakfast in town, then the Capitol Hill Mansion is the place to stay. Wonderful accommodation and a fabulous breakfast. Semi dried Souffle for breakfast with brioche...yum! This accommodation is very close to Denver CBD and a great point to start from when getting around. Local eateries also excellent. Forget me Knot Room was great for a quick overnight. If you were staying extra days would suggest a slightly bigger room. Thank you Carl & Bailey. Stayed at Capitol Hill Mansion B&B while attending a friend's wedding in Denver...great accommodations, comfortable night's sleep, withing walking distance to 16th St. Mall area, and not only was Carl (owner) fun and friendly...each breakfast he prepared was superb!!! If you had a special request or special dietary need, he took great care to see it was fulfilled. Would highly recommend a stay at this wonderful B&B.
