I was in Denver for a conference, and had a great stay at the John Walters House. The rooms are beautiful, and my bed (in the Rose Room) was incredibly comfortable, with high quality sheets and a feather comforter. The B&B is about a 30 minute walk from the convention center, or a short (10 to 15 minute bus ride- the bus stop is 1 block away). I had a wonderful stay, and John is a great host. The breakfasts (included in the rates) are huge and delicious.

John Buchanan greated us like old friends when we arrived,he invited us in and as no one else was on that floor we had the choice of which ever rooms we desired, all beautifully decorated in Victorian elegance.
The beds were made with crisp white sheets,we had an en suite with shower over jacuzzi bath,a choice of bath foams and shampoos etc.
Our friends room had en suite shower and kitchenette complete with nibbles and soft chilled drinks .
There was a typical porch at the front with swing seat and pretty garden round the side.
At the back there was an out building which John was in the process of converting to further accomodation.
We had a choice of juices , cereals, bacon ,sausages or delicious buttermilk pancakes for breakfast, plus unlimited coffee, all served under a beautiful chandelier.
Top marks, just wish we could have stayed longer!

Absolutely gorgeous bed and breakfast. Modern conveniences (jetted tub and enough hot water for at least 2 baths back to back, heater in each room, television with cable) but with perfect late 1800's charm. Very clean and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast made to order.

Staff was gracious and attentive but not overbearing. Made us feel right at home. We were able to explore the house and beverages, coffee, and housewares were made available.

The place looked just as nice in person as it does on their website.

This was a great deal; we still can't believe the value we got for the price. We stayed one night to catch a nearby concert, and now we plan on coming back for an extended weekend just to enjoy this great mansion and its beautiful grounds. Don't hesitate to call them. Seriously.

Do bring your own hair dryer though :)
