“Disappointed,over rated”

Listen up the construction makes check in a mess,and that's part of the experience,sorry comp valet parking is no improcement,the room had no Internet guest service was no help,read this like other travelers dial on comfort had NO EFFECT bed very hard no one slept well in the family....Checking out no asked how was your stay....I got a discount room and I felt I paid too much at that..heads up

First, I want to thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience at the hotel. I also want to apologize that we didn't meet your expectations while you stayed with us. Based on the construction for CItySet we felt that the best service answer was to offer the complimentary valet service. We are always looking to improve how this works to satisfy our guests. We will inspect that room to find out about that bed, the Sleep System bed is an asset to hotel, but we will definitely check the baffles. Also the service issues you raised will be addressed immediately, as there is no excuse. On your next visit, please contact me directly and I can ensure that your stay will exceed your expectations.

“Simply OUTSTANDING”

I stayed here for 1 night on 11 December. Getting to the front of the hotel was slightly challenging due to construction, but following the signs got me straight to the valet. The valet was very courteous and helpful, they unloaded my luggage and assured me that my car would be available to me 24/7. I could call ahead and they'd have it ready and running for me in minutes.
Checkin was quick & painless; friendly front desk staff had my package ready & waiting, all in order.
The room was nice; standard HGI king. Just what I expect and love about HGI properties. Pulled the blackout curtains, dialed in my sleep number, and off to lala-land I went...
I slept in late, and went down to breakfast a few minutes before they closed. The staff were breaking everything down and cleaning up. I fully expected to be turned away, but they welcomed me and I was served a delicious, hot breakfast of cheese omelet, fresh fruit, bacon, juice, coffee... all of it. When I was finished, about 20 minutes later, I saw a couple and their 2 kids walk in for breakfast and I thought, "no way are they getting breakfast!" Well, I was WRONG. They were greeted, and served just as I was. That's truly excellent service.
When I checked out and asked for my car, the valets were, again, fast and courteous. I enjoyed another cup of coffee while my car warmed up and the valets loaded my bags.
HGI, thanks for great service. I'm sure there are challenges given the construction, but this place still rocks!

“Very good hotel”

I used to travel every week for business and I am a Hilton Honors member, so I have stayed in my fair share of Hiltons. I felt that this Hilton Garden in was top notch in it's class. It's brand new, so you get the benefits of being in a brand new building - i.e. no grimy corners and broken handles, etc. I think this is a perfect hotel for business travels or for families on the go. When I traveled, I typically grabbed something to go and ate in my room. This hotel is perfectly located for this type of traveler - there are plenty of mid-cost fast food locations within 1.5 miles (Panera - next door, Starbucks - across the street, Rubios, Jamba Juice and a host of other middle of the road chain establishments). It's also only about 5 minutes from the Cherry Creek Mall, which has some finer dining establishments and shopping of course. The business center in this hotel is more than adequate and there is a Staples on block down the road. The fitness center has 4 cardio machines, a full set of dumbells, a couple of adjustable benches, a fitness ball and a nautilus set. It's in great condition. We did not try the restaurant food or cocktails, but with so much around you... that's shouldn't be a deal breaker either way. And to top it off, the staff was incredibly friendly. The construction didn't seem to be that big of a deal, but I suppose as they get going it might be louder. Again, I'm not sure it's a deal breaker with all the other good stuff about this place. I highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

“Just Average and Overpriced”

NOTE: MAJOR CONSTRUCTION ONGOING INTO 2012

No handicap parking due to construction and very long walk to the front door even with the valet parking. Had some snow overnight so I called down to the front desk and asked to have car cleared off and ready to go. When we got downstairs the car was still parked way out in lot, was not cleaned off at all, and when they finally got it to the valet station the snow was piled up on the hood and I had to clear it off with my umbrella; my windshield brush/scraper was no longer in the back.of my car!

The room was clean but very small with an uncomfortable bed. The dials on either side of the bed had no effect on the hardness of the mattress. The only sink was in the same room as the toilet and tub.

Check-in staff were very efficient and friendly. They provided dining recommendations.

We planned to stay 3 nights but decided to check-out the first morning and found another hotel.

“A good new hotel”

This is my favorite hotel in Denver when I travel with my family. We can share a room since they have 2 queen beds in 1 room and the breakfast is great and the indoor pool is a + for the kids. Everything is new and contemporary. Last time I was here they unfortunately started a construction (Marriott) across the parking lot (pretty far) but they valet park your car for free so that was ok anyway and there was no noise in the room from the construction. I will be back since its very well located in Cherry Creek (the best shopping area in Denver!)
