The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that they changed the linens and cleaned the room each day. Other than that, it was a horrible experience. The hotel only has two phone lines for 30-some rooms. When using the phone line for dial-up internet for my work, the owners would pull the plug and leave me phoneless for entire days and nights. I believe this is illegal, even a wire-tapping federal felony. What if I had an emergency and needed to call 911? On several occasions, the owners would bang on my door first thing in the morning and storm in uninvited, accusing me of not paying on time for the next night. This happened FIVE MINUTES after checkout time. Once they did this, when I had already paid for the next night. Yet instead of apologizing, they accused ME of the error. Incredible! They were extremely nosy and it was bizarre. When I complained, these Korean owners first pretended they didn't understand English, then verbally attacked me, saying they were doing me a favor by letting me use the phone at all!!! Absolutely unprofessional behavior. Three times that I witnessed, police detectives came looking for criminals with arrest warrants. One was a sting operation with storm toopers, the works. My nearest neighbor coughed all night long, seemingly with tuberculosis, and both he and the people below had sex constantly, screaming and moaning. (Certainly entertaining at first, but I mean, c'mon). The first night I stayed and all they had was a two-bed unit. I took it, but when I wanted to stay another night, they MOVED me to another room. The third morning they wanted to MOVE me again! I refused, and only after much arguing did they agree to let me stay in that room. These people should have their permits revoked by the city of Denver. Someday they'll kill someone because of that phone business. It's obscene.
