I come to Denver a lot to see the doctors at the VA hospital. I used to stay at a hotel down the street (Colorado BLVD) closer to the VA. There nothing worked right except all the fighting and screaming all night from other guest. There was a very nice change there at the Belcaro Motel. The people who runs it really do run it. I would recommend this Hotel to any one who wants to have a good place to stay with out spending a load of money.

My lodging plans for a recent Denver visit fell through so I was driving around looking for a place that would fit into my budget. I really only needed the room to sleep and shower so the Belcaro was just the right fit. It is one of those places that you drive right by all the time, but never really notice. It looks like it was built in the 1950s, but inside the room the only remnants of that time period is the bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable with nice pillows and soft sheets. It does sit right on Colorado Blvd so you can hear the traffic in the morning, but for an economical place to sleep right near everything, I would recommend the Belcaro.
